Danfoss VLT® Soft Starters are engineered to provide smooth motor starting and stopping, reduced mechanical stress, and superior motor protection for a wide range of industrial applications. Unlike Variable Frequency Drives, Danfoss Soft Starters generate zero harmonics, eliminating the need for harmonic filters or screened cables while reducing inrush current, minimizing voltage dips, and extending the life of motors and driven equipment. Designed for reliability, compact installation, and energy-efficient operation, the VLT® Soft Starter range is ideal for applications where controlled starting and stopping are required without continuous speed control.
